Beaudesert McDonalds joined in with restaurants across Australia to celebrate McHappy Day on Saturday 13 November.

Staff dressed up in their best country gear as they raised funds by selling Silly Socks, Helping Hands and Big Macs.

Restaurant Manager Josh Lane said he and the staff really enjoyed dressing up and giving back to the community on McHappy Day.

“It’s my favourite day of the year,” he said, “I wish every day was like this.”

He thanked the Beaudesert community for their support.

Barbara Ryan, Chief Executive Officer, Ronald McDonald House Charities Australia, said,

“The funds raised will have a significant impact on so many families across Australia who are facing unimaginable circumstances.”

Ronald McDonald House Charities Australia support over 60,000 families each year through vital facilities and programs they provide including Ronald McDonald Houses, Family Rooms, Family Retreats and their national Learning Program.

Over $5.2 million was raised across Australia.
