The future of Beaudesert Show is bright, with a keen interest in the 2024 Beaudesert Show Ambassador competition which attracted nine entrants across the Junior Ambassador, Show Girl and Rural Ambassador categories.

Judged by local judges including Bec Teese, Bruce Pattinson, Chris Duncan, Rhiannon Taylor (2012 Beaudesert Showgirl) and Sarah Thorpe (2023 Beaudesert and South East Rural Ambassador), the entrants were scored according to their interest and connection in the rural community, general knowledge and presentation.

The winners in each category were:

  • 2024 Showgirl Charlotte Stubbs
  • 2024 Showgirl runner up – Brianna Turner
  • 2024 Rural Ambassador – Chloe Taylor
  • 2024 Junior Show Person – Poppi-Anna Edwards
  • 2024 Junior Show Person runner up – Sophie Ward

Stepping down from her role, the 2023 Junior Ambassador, Kieran Cahill, said the past year has been a great experience and she enjoyed sharing her love for the town and the community.

The Queensland Rural Ambassador Awards is the preeminent rural and agricultural leadership program for men and women aged between 20 and 30.

Run by Queensland Ag Shows since 2003, the Queensland Rural Ambassador Awards allow young people to promote Queensland, agriculture, rural communities and show societies, while providing an avenue for local communities and Ag Shows to recognise, celebrate and develop future leaders.
