Desert Skin & Beauty owner Kymberly Griffiths has upgraded her salon to a new location.

Just a few steps up from her original salon, Desert Skin & Beauty resides at Shop 9 on 115 Brisbane St, Beaudesert, with a much larger space to cater towards her clientele needs.

After opening her business in 2022, Kymberly was overjoyed to be able to expand so quickly and appreciates all the support she has received along the way.

“It still feels surreal – it was always one of my end goals. I don’t think it’s really sunk in properly yet,” she said.

“I’ve set goals pretty much all my life and only in the recent years I’ve been able to achieve them. I’m so grateful for the support that I have received throughout the community.”

To showcase her new salon to the community, Kymberly hosted a Christmas Glow Up event on December 4, with two sessions held throughout the afternoon.

The evening included a live demonstration of their signature facelift performed by Jacinta Ashton and a talk by Clinical Educator Heather Ford, alongside drinks and nibblies.

“It absolutely blew my mind – well and truly exceeded my expectations,” Kymberly said.

“Everyone was interacting with everyone, chatting to each other, and having that really strong sense of community.”

Regular customer Tina Jeffs has been going to Desert Skin since the beginning and enjoyed being able to celebrate the opening of Kymberly’s new salon.

“She’s got a lovely approach towards serving customers with all sorts of concerns and she wants the best for you. I wish her all the best,” Tina said.

“She does a great job; give her a go.”

New customer Renee Musztacs has seen Kymberly for over six months and admires the way Kymberly handles customers.

“She is amazing. I’ve never felt so confident and she’s just so lovely,” Renee said.

“She got me to try new things without feeling stupid – she just made it so comfortable.”

“I recommend anyone to come here; just don’t take my spot,” she added.

Kymberly looks forward to entering the new year with a bang and hopes the community can find confidence and relaxation at her salon.
