GOING above and beyond for the community has earned a local pharmacy team statewide recognition for their work.
The Scenic Rim Discount Drug Store (DDS) won Queensland Discount Drugstore Pharmacy of the Year at a gala awards dinner as part of the DDS conference on the Gold Coast.
It was their first time winning Pharmacy of the Year after taking home the Queensland DDS Community Engagement Award in 2019 and 2020.
Pharmacy Proprietor Casey Clark said it was a team effort.
“It was such a wonderful surprise to win. It is a true credit to the wonderful team that we have that constantly go over and above for the local community,” she said.
“It was really great to see their hard work recognised and I hope they feel as proud about their win as we are of them.”
