The Siam Cup made its return to the Canungra Showgrounds on June 28, treating the crowd to a thrilling night of Muay Thai action with 15 bouts spanning juniors to seasoned professionals.
Seven-year-old Canungra locals Ruby Williams and Wolfe Torrens made their fight debuts, while Wolfe’s father, Cameron Torrens, secured the Siam Pro Australian Title in the co-main event.
The headline bout saw Thai fighter Teerawat “AKA” Kru Gob claim victory over Orono Pumlumnow by knockout to claim the Siam Pro International Title.
Event organiser and Canungra Muay Thai Club owner David Torrens said the card was fantastic, with lots of great matchups throughout the night.
“It was a really strong event and I appreciate the locals coming out to support the fighters and the Siam Cup,” he said.
