The Baha’i community of Scenic Rim is excited to invite community members to a parent introductory information session regarding a Junior Youth Empowerment Program that will be starting on a weekly basis from these school holidays on Tamborine Mountain.
Across Australia young people are participating in an endeavour that strives to give them a voice in today’s society.
Through the Junior Youth Spiritual Empowerment Program, these junior youth groups are enhancing their power of expression, sharpening their spiritual perception, analysing the constructive and destructive forces of society and changing their surroundings through the service projects while forming strong bonds of friendship and having fun!
These groups have already been established on the mountain on and off for about three years now.
Some service projects the junior youth have done include raising money for local charities, a mural, and visiting the local nursing home.
There will be two junior youth groups (Grade 5-6) and (Grade 7-9).
