This picture of our lazy and sassy cat, LeChat, comes to you from Covid isolation.
She’s an indoor cat and has the run of the house, so isolation comes pretty naturally to her. But when we’re home, she can be a clingy little thing, in a catty kind of way.
I had to reposition her scratching post in the best spot under the window, near my desk, in a bid to stop her laying across my computer keyboard while I was trying to get through some work.
The dogs, meanwhile, were lazing in the sun on the verandah all day, like they usually do, and enjoying a few extra pats while we were isolating at home.
When this newspaper hits the stands, Zac and I will be finished with our Covid isolation, back to good health and walking around town again. For now, the pets are happy to have us home.
