Beaudesert Sporting Clays members took home multiple medals and plenty of memories at the recent Pan Pacific Masters Games.

Mark Farrow said 12 club members competed in the event, with eight coming home with medals.

For several of the members it was their first Pan Pacific Masters Games as the minimum age to compete was 30 years.

Club members Dan Davis, Missy McKerrow and Martin Scott competed very successfully in the 30 to 39 age group.

Beaudesert took the top three medals in three events including the Division One Skeet championship, where Martin achieved the gold medal, Dan took out silver and Missy brought home the bronze.

These placings were repeated in the Division One Sporting event, where Daniel McKiernan also took first place in Division Two.

The club also took the top three placings in Division One of the Gold Coast Points Championship with Dan Davis, Daniel Shelton and Martin Scott taking gold, silver and bronze respectively.

Dan also took gold in Division One of the Double Barrel event and in First Grade Sporting, with Martin receiving gold in the Division One of the Universal Trap.

Mark said it was a great result for the club, with the younger shooters particularly impressive. “Every time they did something they got medals,” Mark said.

“They were always the top people in their age group.”

Other medal wins included Robert Davis with gold in the Grade Three Sporting event and Mark who took gold in the Division Six Sporting event.
