Three state schools in the Scenic Rim came together for their first interschool soccer carnival on April 24 at Beaudesert Soccer Club.
Hosted by Beaudesert State School, the inaugural event featured teams from Gleneagle State School and Woodhill State School, with 12 teams taking part across the day.
The carnival was originally scheduled for November last year but was postponed due to consistent rainfall.
Students competed in a series of matches throughout the day, with the event focused on participation, skill development and sportsmanship.
Beaudesert State High School soccer excellence students supported the carnival by refereeing matches, while the Woodhill State School P&C operated the canteen for players and spectators.
