Whether you are a business looking for a trainee or apprentice or a young person looking for a career, Smart Employment Solutions can assist.

Located in Brisbane Street, Beaudesert, CEO Steve Craven says that  group employment delivers a tailored, high quality group training service to employers and apprentices in construction, electrical, civil, automotive, engineering and business administration.

The registered, not-for-profit charity has helped more than 20,000 apprentices and trainees into their chosen careers over the past 35 years.

Steve has worked for the company for over 20 years, and enjoys seeing the difference these career opportunities bring to young people.

“How it works, a builder who wants an apprentice but doesn’t know how long the work will last so can’t commit to the full term of the apprenticeship can come to us,” said Steve.

“We’ll recruit them, the employer can meet them, we’ll sign them up, induct them, give them PPE, we place them out on site and charge a weekly rate.”

With higher than industry averages for apprentice completion rates and retention, Smart Employment Solutions is a market leading group training company.

Their services include:

Group training – recruitment and supply of apprentices for Certificate II and Certificate III qualifications.

A market driven tailored approach – delivering work ready, entry level staff to employers and sound management of training and pastoral care that delivers countless benefits to apprentices and employers.

Employers only pay for the hours worked with a minimum of a 38 hour full time week.

Smart Employment Solutions cover sick pay, annual leave, public holidays, college costs, uniforms and personal protective equipment (PPE).

Most Smart Employment Solutions team members have trade qualifications in the industry they work in or have developed a sound understanding of business needs for quality entry level staff.

Smart Employment Solutions is skilling Queensland’s future tradespeople.
