Scenic Rim community groups to benefit as new masterplanned development launches

Leading national developer Villawood Properties has launched a $400 million master-planned, multi-stage community on an 83-hectare site in Gleneagle, with an on-site land sales office now open.

Bordering the township of Beaudesert, Eucalee will ultimately comprise over 700 sizeable lots, with an average lot size of 700sqm.

Coinciding with the launch of the new community, Villawood has introduced a Community Grant Program to assist cultural, recreation, community and not-for-profit groups, sporting clubs and schools within the Scenic Rim.

Villawood Properties Queensland General Manager, Michael Williams, says the company is passionate about giving back to the local community and supporting local groups which in turn supports the residents living within their developments.

“There is significantly more to creating a living, breathing community than simply constructing a housing allotment,” Mr Williams said.

“Villawood constantly seeks to break new ground and set new benchmarks in how Australians live and connect.

“Nationally, the company gives more than $2.6 million a year to the community through its philanthropic program. Much of this is through a multitude of community grants and sponsorships, many of them to smaller groups tied to Villawood communities – like Eucalee – which might not otherwise attract corporate or government assistance.”

Eucalee is within proximity to the Bromelton State Development Area, just 7 minutes from Beaudesert township and an hour from both Brisbane and Gold Coast CBDs.  The first release consists of 10 large homesites ranging from 612sqm to 1,100sqm, selling from $219,900.

“Our vision for Eucalee is to deliver a unique community with a diverse choice of housing, ample open spaces and urban art installation, all designed to the highest standards in line with Villawood’s key values,” Mr Williams said.

“The community-minded layout will also comprise parklands, playgrounds, waterway reserves, and walking trails.

Applications for Villawood Properties’ Community Grants program are now open, with $500 and $1000 grants up for grabs to assist successful applicants with activities within the Scenic Rim community.
