BEAUDESERT girl Laellah Paulson is following her dreams to model beautiful gowns abroad, and she needs the community’s help to get there.

The confident youngster, who loves to wear pretty dresses, was chosen by formal wear brand Belle Le Chic to model on their September International Fashion Week Tour for 2025.

Belle Le Chic chose Laellah when she entered the national all-ages Radiance Runway modelling competition in Brisbane in January.

Laellah, 6, first competed in Radiance Runway as a baby and again in 2023 and this year won the Belle Le Chic Runway Queen Award.

The award gives her the opportunity to model at Fashion Week in Paris and Milan as well as photoshoots and the opportunity to feature on a billboard in Times Square.

Now, her family and supporters need to raise about $10,000 to get her there.

Laellah’s coach Kaye Russell, who is also the director of Radiance Runway, is helping the family through Laellah’s team, the Glitter Squad.

Kaye said Laellah impressed Belle Le Chic to be selected and now had a great opportunity ahead of her.

“The owner of Belle Le Chic was not just looking at them on stage but their behaviour throughout the weekend and of course how they walk, because they want girls they know will be able to walk with confidence on the runway when they hit international status,” she said.

“Our big thing for these younger ones is really focusing on their confidence and the enjoyment they get out of it – the experiences and meeting new people, and obviously they all love going on a plane.”

Laellah’s mum Tamarah Saunders, who manages Ned’s Restaurant at Beaudesert Golf Club, wants to help Laellah get to Fashion Week.

“I am hoping to fundraise to get her there, because obviously it’s not a cheap experience,” she said.

“The golf club is going to let us host raffles here, we may do a charity golf day and we’ve spoken with some of the local pubs and clubs who are allowing us to hold some raffles there as well.”

For more information or to help with fundraising contact Tamarah on 0413 927 016.
