Beaudesert farmers and foodies have wrapped up another popular Scenic Rim Eat Local Week full of sold-out events and buzzing crowds.

The region-wide annual spectacle culminated in the Winter Harvest Festival at Aratula, where Beaudesert locals turnout out to support Scenic Rim producers in muddy conditions.

Tabooba couple Allen and Sharne Muller and their kids Lincoln, Seth and Pearl were among dedicated foodies to don their gumboots and head out for a day of eating and drinking in the rain at Aratula.

Eat Local Week events around Beaudesert included tasting tables at Beaudesert Community Arts and Information Centre and Rathlogan Olive Grove, a small market at Rathdowney Visitor Information Centre and the popular Beaudesert Street Food Festival at Jubilee Park.

There was also the sold-out annual Jamming with the Lambs at Towri Sheep Cheeses and two rounds of the sold-out Chef’s Table Dinner at the Copperhead Café, Kooralbyn.
