The atmosphere was joyous at Jubilee Park when Beaudesert’s iconic annual event, Carols in the Park, made its return.

The event, which was cancelled in 2021 due to wet weather, was on a Friday night for the first time and there was also the addition of market stalls.
The Beaudesert Chamber of Commerce organised Carols in the Park, which Beaudesert Rotary had organised in recent years.
There was strong involvement from local community groups including Beaudesert Lions, Beaudesert Rotary and the Youth and Community Centre (YACC) committee.
Aunty Geraldine Page provided the Welcome to Country and there were also opening speeches from Cr Michael Enright and Pastor Josh Cocks.
Bec Teese from Bec Teese Performance Tuition organised the entertainment, which included performances from her own students as well as A Choired Taste, Beaudance Academy, Sarah and Daniel McNamara, local legend Keith Dunn and Bec Teese herself.
