A MAJOR landholder in the Bromelton State Development Area is selling, 17 years after purchasing the 196Ha site.

In 2008 Mirvac Projects Pty Ltd reportedly signed an unconditional deal together with Middle Eastern developer Nakheel to develop the site.

Now, 2802 Beaudesert Boonah Road is taking offers to purchase until March 18.

It has an existing Development Approval (Reconfiguration of Lot) and Infrastructure Agreements (Scenic Rim Regional Council, Transport and Main Roads and Urban Utilities).

According to State Development Queensland, Mirvac’s intentions included the first stage of the Bromelton Nucleus Transmodal Hub, to establish a master planned intermodal freight centre on land south of Beaudesert-Boonah Road and adjacent to Sydney-Brisbane rail line.

Real estate listings spruik the property’s neighbours as SCT Logistics, A.J.Bush, Gelita, Australian Rail Track Corporation, Terra Firma Fertilizers, Soilco, Cleanaway, Australian Natural Extracts and Hazell Brothers.
