Beaudesert’s newest childcare centre has officially opened after floods and COVID-19 postponed the event three times!

Already at 80% capacity after welcoming its first families in late January, the new $5.5 million Amaze Early Education Centre at 202-216 Brooklands Drive is proudly enriching the lives of children through the immersive bushland childcare experience it offers.

Co-founder Lucy Cook says Amaze’s playgrounds are some of the best in the world and one of the key reasons parents and carers chose their centres over others.

“Our vision is to be the best early childhood education provider possible, and we really embed into the communities we serve,” said Ms Cook.

“Amaze Education appreciates how important it is to immerse ourselves in, and be responsive to our communities and the environment. It is for this reason all our centres look different and offer different experiences for children.”

Ms Cook said she was actively looking for new qualified staff to join her team.

“We have new children starting every week and are currently looking to employ more locals to help with the demand,” she said.

Division 3 Scenic Rim Councillor Virginia West said she is delighted by the new childcare centre and particularly appreciated its prominent inclusion of the Muninjali people in its design.

“It’s heart-warming to see this new childcare centre open in Beaudesert and I especially like its rural feel. The Mibbin (Eagle Totem) being incorporated in the playground makes it so special for the Muninjali community,” Cr West said.

“This is a significant childcare centre opening as it is the first to be developed in almost 20 years, and what a lovely space to showcase. Given our local population is increasing this has come at just the right time.”

The new Amaze Early Education Centre is setting a new gold standard in childcare centres. Amaze Education Group has childcare centres in Mudgeeraba and Gaven on the Gold Coast, in Ipswich and Redbank Plains.
